about
For a meditative pop band, Point of View is our most chaotic song yet. Written in early 2020 it reflects the stirring of our collective unconscious and the entangling questions that life winds (or unwinds). The lyrics offer a reflective state of mind to ponder meaning and understanding amidst this buzzing and thunderous landscape. Everything happens for a reason and we can always learn from our experiences- good and bad. One thing leads to another, like the myth of the burning Phoenix or Hindu Gods Shiva and Kali of death, destruction and creation. These stories remind us that challenges present us with the gift of insight, more so than a life without any hardships and lessons. Similarly, the meditative perspective in Point of View clears a path for listeners to find the beauty and purpose of difficult times that lead to a brighter beginning, even if they haven’t reached it yet.
lyrics
What would they think about you?
What’s their point of view?
Can we open up enough to let it through?
What would you want to undo?
What’s the final use?
Can we open up enough to let it through?
Are we holding onto something of no use?
Maybe letting go is all we need to do?
For what it’s worth
You’ll see through
What motive and intent do

It's been like several re-listens and binges of this album since 2020 that I can still come back to and proudly say that this was an album I will personally call one of my favorites of all time.
Wonderfully crafted & ambitious dream pop wearing its 60s influence on its sleeve with sheer delight, Wake UP! has been an album that I have no shame in saying it saved my life. No other album I can say I love can say that did it for me, capturing both the anxieties and joys of life, in spite of it. christiancruz8184
